About Us

SENSOPLAN was founded 1994 in Germany and earned its first international project in the USA in 1995. Shortly after, SENSOPLAN was selected as the leading consulting firm for a multinational power plant project in Spain, Japan, Switzerland and Mexico. As the business grew, new services were added in the following years. In 1998, the business was relocated to the new headquarters in Hohentengen/Germany. By 2000 SENSOPLAN had expanded services to over 15 countries around the world.

In 2003, SENSOPLAN successfully introduced the repair of lamination SENSOCORE-Inject® and the first lamination stack diagnosis SENSOCORE HI Checkup with the new mobile high induction test system installed in a container.

Excellent performance and a continuous stream of customer tailored services and products allowed SENSOPLAN’s world-wide expansion. Superior engineering capabilities and new facilities provide the basis for the fast growth of the business.

In September 2010, SENSOPLAN joined GE Energy's Power Generation Services portfolio.

Since early 2011 SENSOPLAN leads the generator multi-vendor services segment within GE, offering a complete range of generator maintenance and upgrade services for most major non GE manufactures.

In September 2012, SENSOPLAN inaugurates the facility expansion with the new High Speed Balancing (HSB) and Heat Run Testing System for large generator rotors to enable world-class turnkey service and repair capabilities. SENSOPLAN is positioned as an Industry Leader in Turnkey Generator Services.
